Ramsey is a sad guy. He’s been at the shelter since January 2 and he’s starting to think he just lives here. He doesn’t always pick his head up when people walk by his kennel because he doesn’t realize he’s up for adoption. Ramsey is a 2-year-old boxer mix who will need someone to provide him with plenty of exercise. He really loves to play with toys and is food motivated. If you have either thing in your hand he will “talk” to you until you give him what he wants. Because of his energy level, we recommend that he goes to a home with no cats and children older than 10. Please help get Ramsey out of a kennel and into a home.
Carlos is a beautiful, 2-year-old medium-haired brown tabby who is an incredibly laid-back boy. He didn’t really even move to have his picture taken. We opened the cage door, snapped off some shots and he remained watching us the whole time. He’s one cool cat. Come see what we mean.
Quinn is a 4-year-old hound mix who came to the shelter after being hit on the Pennsylvania turnpike. He suffered a broken pelvis and other injuries (some of which required sutures). It was a 2-month recovery period for this poor guy, but he’s ready to find a home. Quinn is a gentle, but sensitive dog who will need time to trust. Once he knows you, he’s a very loving lap dog. We’re thinking a home with children older than 12 would be best for Quinn.
Teddy came into the shelter from a rough situation last August. He’s been with us for a year and really needs to get out of a cage and into a loving home. He’s a 7-year-old tiger with some white who enjoys relaxing and napping. Teddy wouldn’t get off his back for the photo, so he’s happiest when he’s stretched out and chillin’.
Chance is a handsome 4-year-old pitbull who loves to play and get attention. His expressive brown eyes really steal your heart. Chance will need a home with people who understand his energy level and breed. He’s a sweetheart who knows how to sit, but does seem to have a high chase drive, so cannot be in a home with cats. Because of his size and energy, we’re looking for a place for Chance with children older than 8. If you’ve got the right spot for him, please stop by to meet him.
Willy is a 3-year-old gray-and-white boy who doesn’t even mind being awakened from a nap to get his picture taken. This dear little guy even head-butted the shelf because he wanted attention and love so much. Willy will make someone a really great friend.
Onyx is a 7-year-old pitbull mix and is a real sweetheart. She absolutely loves to snuggle. Onyx knows how to sit, shake, and speak. She can sometimes be a little shy with new people, but she quickly warms up. Due to her shyness we recommend a home with children older than 8. Do you have the right spot for Onyx?
Nealee is a sweet, 2-year-old grey tabby with white girl. She came into the shelter pregnant and had her litter, and went into foster care soon after giving birth. Nealee is now ready to find the perfect forever home.
