Healthcare Open House

By Michaela Oberholzer

Wilson College hosted an open house on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, to highlight undergraduate degrees in healthcare. Prospective students interested in attending Wilson College for exercise science, healthcare and medical humanities, nursing, and health science professions checked in and proceeded to various stations designed to help them explore what Wilson College has to offer.

Prospective students were exposed to information regarding the newly remodeled concentrations in these fields and participated in interactive components at each station. Current students and alumni volunteered to speak on behalf of Wilson College, in addition to various faculty and staff.

The well-attended open house was a success as future students and parents alike were engaged while participating in medical demonstrations, touring nursing facilities, and speaking with alumna Payton Dziemburski, who is a ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist in the local community.

Prospective students participated in an interactive Nursing presentation.
