Wilson College Welcomes New VP of Institutional Advancement

Wilson College’s office of Institutional Advancement welcomed a new member on March 15, 2021. Angela Zimmann was appointed as Vice President of Institutional Advancement. She takes the role of former VP Camilla Rawleigh who retired from the institution in November 2020.

The Office of Institutional Advancement, housed in the Alumni House located on the east side of campus, is responsible for ensuring the connection is established between the current students, alumni, the community, and the campus. They also help find donors and local businesses to support the mission of the college. The office holds many events throughout the semester such as the donor dinner and alumni reunion weekend. They also organize the Aunt Sarah/ Uncle Wilson program offered to students as a way to connect with Wilson Alumni.

Zimmann was appointed following a national search for candidates. She has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising and engagement, which are skills that will help to ensure the success of the college in years to come.

“I am excited to join the team at Wilson College and am very much looking forward to helping the college build upon its past successes,” Zimmann said in an article published by the college following her appointment to the position.
