Alicia Keys Hosts 2019 Grammy Awards

On Feb. 10, the 61st annual Grammy’s were hosted by Alicia Keys and turned out to be a big success. She had been the first female host in 14 years, and definitely proved that she was worthy. Keys has a calming, open spirit and knows how to influence an audience to have fun. Her performance stunned viewers and left them speechless. She sang many big hits and even played two pianos at the same time. A couple of the songs she performed included Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Whop (That Thing)” and Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody”. She even spoke about one of her past experiences at the Grammy’s when John Mayer split his Grammy award with her in 2005. She is a 15-time Grammy winner and has been on the stage more times than most musicians. She kept the audience engaged and is deemed to be one of the best hosts of the Grammy’s.
