Shooting in Texas Church Leaves 26 Dead, Many Injured

Tragedy struck in a Southern Texas town as a man walked into a Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, TX and started shooting on Sunday afternoon, leaving 26 dead and many others in critical condition. The victims range from 18-months to 77 years old.

According to MSN, local news outlets report that several people have been shot at the First Baptist Church in South Texas. Multiple victims have been reported and there was a wide variety of police at the scene of the crime in Sutherland Springs, which is southeast of San Antonio.

According to news reports, the shooter, Devon Patrick Kelly, suffered multiple injuries including one self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Kelly died of his injuries.

Sutherland Springs is a small town in South Texas with a population of about 400-500 people.
